Al Moherbie Clearance and Transport Est. was first established in 1976 by Ken Swan, the present General Manager and its local owner, Salem Saif Saqr Al Moherbie as 100 per cent locally owned company.

In 1983, we expanded into the worldwide freight forwarding, commenced trading with a second Trade License as Al Moherbie International Freight Est.

Since our expansion into the Heavy Lift Project market due to commencing a close working relationship with Hitachi Transport System (HTS) of Tokyo and Abnormal Load Engineering (ALE) of UK, we have been involved in many prestigious Heavy Lift Projects in the Arabian Gulf.

With Al Moherbie being one of the few freight forwarders in the U.A.E who own and operate their own in-house transport fleet, we are able to offer our clients a tightly coordinated and fully integrated door/door transport logistics solutions both locally and worldwide.

Al Moherbie have worked over the past 32 years on all major projects involving the country's infrastructure, petrochemical, telecommunications, power generation, water desalination and agricultural schemes, thus developing a reputation as one of the most effective and reliable operators  in   Abu Dhabi.

Our main offices are situated in Abu Dhabi City and are fully equipped with facsimile machines, computerised accounting, E-Mail network freight co-ordination systems and Engineering- AutoCAD facilities.

Our transport, warehousing and distribution services are based at our Musafah facility in the industrial area on  67,000 square feet fully concreted, covered/open and secure site.

Our transport services specialise in the project logistics market, in particular, heavy lifts, long, large outsized pieces through to delicate items such as computers and electronic equipment, aero engines, etc.

Our Heavy Lift Division (ALE) are at present operating over 350 lines of self propelled and standard modular hydraulic trailers with heavy duty prime movers along with our 5 to 8 axle low loaders, extendibles, self steering dollies, 12-20 metre flatbed trailers and trucks plus 6 x 6 offroad truck cranes for delivering telecommunications and oilfield equipment into the various remote desert areas.

Al Moherbie has all the necessary permits and licenses to trade in the UAE as a local company.
